Official Blue Ridge Parkway lot at milepost 407.6 for the Mount Pisgah trail. The cone of Pisgah and its tower sit in the windshield from the painted stalls, rolling ridges under it. Sedan pavement, twenty-seven bays, no services on the pad. Packed with hikers until late afternoon. After the last car the cone is yours from the lot.
