Gravel lot on Estrada do Farol (CM 1124) at the foot of Farol do Cabo Sardão, the western tip of the Alentejo. The white square tower and the red lantern sit in the windshield from the stalls; storks nest on the sea stacks beyond the fence. Compacted ground, sedan-easy, no charger and no toilets on the pad. Day-trippers and the odd coach fill the bays until late afternoon. After the last car the lighthouse and the Costa Vicentina cliffs are yours from the seat.
