Faro da Barca, the granite rocks and the open Atlantic sit in the windshield from the seaward stalls; the white sanctuary stands behind the pad. Dirt and stone-block sedan bays, public toilets on the lot, no Supercharger. Coaches, pilgrims and the kiosk choke the bay until sunset. After the last mass the cape is yours from the car.
