Official surface lot on Lonbain Road at Sand, just south of the BUTEC spur on the Applecross coast. The pink sand of Sand Bay, the Inner Sound and the outlines of Raasay, Rona and the Cuillin sit in the windshield from the west-facing tarmac stalls; red deer graze the verge after the vans leave. Sedan pavement, a bin on the pad, no charger and no toilets. Walkers fill the six bays until late afternoon. After the last car the bay is yours from the seat.
