Loch Druim Suardalain Parking

Assynt Foundation walkers' lot at the end of Canisp Road, on the west shore of Loch Druim Suardalain. Suilven's sugarloaf and Canisp sit in the windshield from the south-facing gravel stalls; the loch and its pine island fill the near ground. Single-track tarmac out of Lochinver, compacted gravel, a donation box, room for a dozen sedans. Packed with walkers by day. After the last boot the pillar and the loch are a long sit from the stall — no charger on the pad, just gravel and weather.
