Highland Council lot on the A838 at the Durness Visitor Centre, the marked tarmac bays sit above Sango Bay. The white sand, the gneiss stacks and the headland fill the windshield from the seaward stalls; a ChargePlace Scotland pair is on the same pad. Sedan pavement, pay-and-display, no toilets on the stall. Coaches and the toastie queue work the bay by day. After the last bus the sand is yours from the car.
