West Harris Trust picnic bay on the single-track to Losgaintir, a hardstanding apron above Tràigh Losgaintir. The white tidal sands and the turquoise channels sit in the windshield from the stalls; at low tide the flats run out to the Seilebost hills. Level grass-and-gravel for four or five vans, picnic benches, a bin, a donation to the Trust, a path down onto the sand. Packed with vans by afternoon. After the last car the bay is yours from the sedan — no charger on the pad, just tide and weather.
