Official A7 rest on the Afsluitdijk at Monument. Marked asphalt bays sit on the outer edge of the causeway with the IJsselmeer filling the glass beyond a low rail; the rock armour and the flat horizon run out of sight. Sedan pavement. Coaches and coffee traffic by day. After the last coach the whitecaps are a long sit from the stall.
