Hard-sand North Sea beach at Lakolk on Rømø. You drive onto the strand itself; dunes, kites and open water sit in the windshield from a sedan on the packed sand. Free, no barrier, toilets and shops at the dune line; a Model 3/Y rolls the firm tracks, soft patches after rain. Summer fills with day cars and vans. After the last kite the beach is yours from the seat.
