Official Nemrut Dağı lot at about 1900 m, just past the gate by the visitor centre. The Anti-Taurus and the Mesopotamian plain drop away from the gravel; the stone heads are a short walk above. Last 20 km is steep paved — sedan-doable, snow-closed in winter. Wind and cold at this altitude.
