North Harris Trust gravel at the end of the B887, a 14-mile single-track to the white sands of Huisinis. The beach and the turquoise channel sit in the windshield from the seaward bays; Traigh Mheilein is a short walk, and sea eagles work the cliffs. Sedan gravel after plenty of passing places, a community hut with toilets and coin showers, honesty parking for cars by day and a Trust overnight tariff for vans, no charger on the pad. Day walkers fill the loop. After the last car the bay is yours from the sedan — Highland cattle on the machair, midges in still weather.
