North Harris Trust picnic bays on a quiet single-track above a sea-loch, three level gravel stalls and a picnic square. The loch and the gneiss hills sit in the windshield from the seaward lip; sheep on the verge, almost no traffic after dark. Sedan gravel after the Harris single-track, a bin, a Trust donation, no toilets on the pad, no charger. Two or three vans fit if people park square. After the last car the loch is yours from the sedan — just weather and the tide in the glass.
