Twin gravel lots on the Hoya de la Mora plateau at 2550 m, the highest sealed public-road parking in Spain. Veleta and the Granada lights sit in the windshield from the outer stalls; ibex cross the pad at dawn. A 3.5 t barrier on the climb — a Tesla is under it. Wind is the tax. Packed with hikers from 07:00. After the last bus the plateau is a long sit from the car.
