Official summit bays on Klausenstrasse at Klausenpass, 1948 m. From the painted stalls the Schächental hairpins drop away in the windshield; the restaurant and the stone toilet block sit on the same pad. Sedan asphalt, seasonal (roughly May–October, winter gate). Day motos and coaches until dusk. After the last car the pass and the Uri cliffs are yours from the car.
