The river of ice and the Chugach wall sit in the windshield from the paved stalls; picnic shelter, benches and vault toilets on the same pad. Sedan asphalt, a short path to the fence. Day traffic until evening. After the last van the glacier is yours from the car. Chugiak Supercharger is about 98 km west.
