East-bank pad on the Elan Valley road at Craig Goch, the top dam. The curved Birmingham Baroque wall and the green copper valve tower sit in the windshield from the stalls; in spate the arches become a waterfall. Sedan tarmac after the single-track up the valley, toilets on the same pad. Day photographers until dusk. After they leave the reservoir is yours from the car.
