Named Les Ruffes lot on the red-earth shore of Lac du Salagou. The ruffe hills and the reservoir sit in the windshield from the dirt bays; Mourèze is the next ridge. Sedan red clay, dusty when dry, sticky after rain; one entrance has a 2 m bar. Day windsurfers and vans until late. After they leave the Martian shore is quiet from the car.
