Gravel pass plaza on the Leh–Nubra road at 5359 m. Prayer flags, the BRO sign and the Karakoram sit in the windshield from the bays; an army cafe shares the pad. The climb from Leh is 40 km of mostly sedan pavement, slush and ice above South Pullu in season, Inner Line Permit on the Nubra side. Wind and thin air; coaches at midday, then the pass is a long sit from the car. Charge in Leh — nearest Tesla Superchargers are in the NCR.
