Paved and gravel plateau at about 2100 m on the Campo Imperatore road, the stalls around the old hotel and the funivia. Corno Grande and the observatory sit in the windshield from the bays; the grassland drops the other way. Sedan pavement, a fountain on the pad, toilets in the cable-car hall until evening; barrier office 8:00–17:00, about 10€ for a car and 20€ for a high van, and wind at this altitude will rock a Tesla. Packed with day hikers and food trucks until dusk. After they leave the plateau is yours from the car.
