Asphalt plaza on the Takachiho ridge at Kunimigaoka, 513 m. The basin and the sea of clouds sit in the windshield from the stalls at dawn; Aso is a shadow on a clear day. Sedan pavement, toilets, a drinks machine; last kilometres are narrow mountain asphalt. Dawn photographers until the cloud burns off. After they leave the ridge is a long sit from the stall.
