Dirt CONANP lot at the crater-road gate on the Nevado de Toluca alpine track, about 4,200 m. Pico del Fraile and the alpine bowl sit above the stalls; the Sun and Moon lakes are a walk down the old crater road. Sedan dirt when dry, thin air, snow closes the last kilometres in winter. Day hikers fill the bays; after they leave the caldera is a long sit from the car. Tesla Supercharger in Valle de Bravo / the CDMX west side on the way up.
