Unpaved trailhead at the foot of Ukko-Luosto on Ukko-Luostontie, a wide sedan gravel square in the pines. The fell trail and the long stairs start on the same pad; reindeer on the lot in season. Model 3 gravel, portable toilets in summer, ploughed in the ski season. Day hikers for the summit and the amethyst mine. After they leave the pines and the dark are a long sit from the stall.
