The palace, the old mosque and the Silk Road valley sit in the windshield from the gravel apron; Ağrı Dağı / Ararat is the snow cone on a clear morning. Paved all the way up, last metres sedan gravel — Tesla-easy in the dry, snow-closed some winters. Coaches and sunset locals until evening; after the last minibus the ridge is quiet. WCs and a café on the same pad. Wind and cold at this altitude.
