Paved visitor lot at the Lion Gate of Ani, the abandoned Armenian capital on the closed border. The double walls and the Kars steppe sit from the stalls; the Akhuryan gorge is a short walk through the gate. Asphalt from Kars, sedan-easy, about 1340 m. Day coaches and the morning Kars minibus; after the site closes the lot is empty and the walls are a long sit from the car. Ticket for the ruins is separate from the pad. Wind on the plateau.
