Pinnacles Overlook parking (Badlands)

Official NPS paved lot on Badlands Loop Road (SD-240) at Pinnacles Overlook, a few miles south of Wall. The white-and-red wall and the Sage Creek wilderness sit in the windshield from the stalls; bighorn and bison work the prairie below. Sedan pavement, a large bay, toilets on the pad, no height bar. Packed with sunset coaches. After the last bus the wall is a long sit under dark-sky stars. Tesla Supercharger in Wall on I-90 before you drop into the park; none on this pad.
