Mount Scott summit parking (Wichita Mountains)

Paved summit loop at the end of the three-mile Mount Scott Road, 2,464 ft over the southern plains. Lake Lawtonka, Mount Sheridan, and the granite Wichita sit in the windshield from the stalls; bison country is the same frame. Sedan pavement, a small summit bay, no height bar on the climb; the gate is typically 9 a.m. to sunset for cars. Packed at sunset. After the last car the plains are a long sit from the stall. Tesla Supercharger in Lawton on the way in; none on this pad.
