The Royal Palace in Brussels must be the best kept secret in Europe. It barely gets a mention in most guide books and does not feature in the tripadvisor top ten.In my opinion it is on a par with the Grand Place, i.e. quite magnificent.However to see it you must be in Brussels between the last week in July and early September.It is free but closed on Mondays.
