A large, newly renovated and completely level parking area in Ergolding. A good option for a stop while travelling, especially if you want to charge your Tesla at the same time. There are fast chargers directly at the parking area with up to 400 kW - 48 cents adhoc. The location also has an official motorhome area with electricity, fresh water, waste disposal and public toilet facilities. The surrounding area is nice for a walk, with a small park, pond and recreational areas nearby, including a playground, basketball court and football facilities. There is also a restaurant directly across from the parking area. Privacy is limited as this is a large public parking area, so this is more of a practical stop than a secluded nature spot. Please note that the designated motorhome pitches are officially reserved for motorhomes. Tesla drivers should therefore pay attention to the local signs and only park or stay overnight where permitted. There is also a regular flea market on Saturdays, so expect considerably more activity early in the morning on those days. Overall, a very practical stop for charging, taking a break and exploring the surrounding area.
