Gravel apron on Lighthouse Road at the red-and-white pepperpot in Neil's Harbour, a short paved spur off the Cabot Trail. The Gulf of St. Lawrence sits in the windshield from the stalls; the tower and the fishing boats in the cove fill the glass the other way. Sedan pavement to the light, last metres gravel around the tower, four bays, no Supercharger on the island. Ice-cream traffic until late afternoon in season. After the last cone the harbour and the gulf are yours from the seat.
