Official state-park lot on Howard England Way at the Gulf edge of Fort Zachary Taylor, through Truman Annex at the end of Southard Street. The Gulf of Mexico sits in the windshield from the west stalls; the Civil War brick fort and the Atlantic beach share the same pad through the Australian pines. Sedan-open stalls, toilets and a beach café a short walk, park entry about $6 a vehicle 8 a.m. to sundown. A Tesla Supercharger on North Roosevelt Boulevard about 4 km. Packed with snorkel vans by mid-morning in winter. After the last coach the Gulf and the brick fort are a long sit from the stall.
