Prince William Forest - Picnic Area

Nice break Tesla camping spot on TeslaCamp.

Please note this is a federal park so you will need a pass to enter. Most of the time the gate is not managed and it's a scout's honor that you pay the entrance fee at the visitor center. Depending on the time of day you go, this would be a good spot for a quiet lunch. You can get out of the vehicle and eat lunch at any of the available picnic tables. You can also go on a short easy to do hike if time permits. This lot along with the main visitor area parking are good spots as there are picnic tables spaced out for some privacy and quietness. Please be aware unlike the main visitor lot, this lot is closed during the winter season. Typically, middle of November through early Spring.
