Superchargers, a faster map, more Atlas
New features
Supercharger overlay
The lightning control on the map is off by default. Tap it to show Tesla Superchargers. Zoomed out they gather into red numbered circles; zoom in and each site opens with stall details and a Route button. The control sits on the right of search, on phone and computer, so you can still tap it while a spot is open.
A calmer, instant map
Spots load at once — no waiting for the map to fill. Nearby pins group into numbered circles when you are far out, then open as you zoom in, so the map stays readable and quick even with thousands of pins.
More TeslaCamp Atlas
Many more official TeslaCamp Atlas places are on the map — well-known pads signed for the community. New spots are added every day. Hide TeslaCamp atlas still filters them off if you only want member pins.
Iconic Superchargers
Sites that earn a Tesla app charging badge — Tesla Diner, Yosemite, Honningsvåg and the rest — are marked Iconic as gold pins, never grouped, even with the lightning overlay on. Hide iconic Superchargers sits with Hide TeslaCamp atlas if you only want the rest of the map. TeslaCamp is now the best place to hunt the badges, so you never miss an Iconic Supercharger on your travels.
Local overnight rules
On a spot, Local overnight rules folds out the public camping and parked-car rules for that country only — typical fines, and a calm note that a tidy one-night stop is rarely fined. It is a short public-rules note, not legal advice, and signs still win.
Log in with Google or X
Tap Continue with Google or Continue with X on log in or join. Your photo is the default profile picture. Google signs you into an existing TeslaCamp account with that email. X also fills the X link on your profile; showing it on Top contributors stays off until you tick the box.
Changes
- Camp spots stay split for longer than Superchargers, so places to stay keep most of the map even with the lightning overlay on.
- On a computer, Route opens Google Maps straight away. On a phone you still get Tesla, Apple Maps, Google Maps, and Other apps.
- Supercharger cards lead with stall count and speed, then the quieter extras. On desktop the card is only as tall as the details.
- Supercharger groups sit over the middle of each region, so a country is not one red pin on the coast.
- Dump spots is now Import spots — same tool, a calmer name.
- The first-visit card sits in the middle of the map on a computer, with only Explore the map. Camp and break spots, a note for other TeslaCampers, or share your own favourite places. The off-road disclaimer stays behind the ! until you open it.
Bug fixes
- The back control on Import spots sits with the title, not on top of it.
- Continue with X on log in and join uses the X mark, and tapping it starts X sign-in.
- On a phone, pulling a spot up no longer leaves search sitting on the close control.

New features
TeslaCamp Atlas
Official well-known places can be signed TeslaCamp Atlas. They are not on Top contributors and do not get founding emblems. Hide TeslaCamp atlas filters them off the map.

Optional email
Join with just a nickname and password. Email is optional — add it later in profile settings. Log in with your nickname or email.
Founding emblems
Emblems for the first 100 people who share a pin: 1st (crown), 2nd (silver trophy), 3rd (bronze trophy), Pioneer for the rest of the first ten, OG for 11–100.

Fullscreen photos
Tap a photo when you add or edit a spot to view it fullscreen.

Local map center
The map still opens zoomed out, but centered on the country you are connecting from.
- Default letter avatars use Tesla red instead of green.

First public beta
What TeslaCamp launched with. If you are new, this is the map — everything below was already here before later updates.
New features
The map
- A community map of Tesla-friendly places for a quiet break or a night.
- Satellite view by default. Switch to Map when you want roads and names.
- Search by spot name or camper nickname.
- Filter by stay type (Break, Overnight, Both), beauty, access, privacy, photos, and favourites.
- Open a spot with a share link: teslacamp.eu/?spot=…
Add a spot
- Drop a pin even if you are not there.
- Share as a guest with only a nickname, or create an account.
- Stay type: Break, Overnight, or Both.
- Rate Beauty, Access (1 = easy street, 5 = hardest), and Privacy. Your first rating as creator counts 5×. Later visits count 1× and need GPS at the pin.
- Photos — the first one is the preview on the map.
- Which Tesla you arrived in.
- Route: after tapping Route, pick Tesla to send the pin straight to the car, or open Apple Maps or Google Maps.
- Import a pin group from Google or Apple Maps (login).
Your profile
- Nickname shown exactly as you type it, including capitals.
- Email is only for login, never shown on spots.
- Optional photo, Tesla referral (under pins you created), and X profile (on Top contributors if you choose).
- Optional coarse home area so you can get notes about new spots nearby.
- Favourites, and manage the spots you added.
Community
- Top contributors ranking.
- An honest off-road note: pick spots that match your car, your skill and your comfort.
